Do you need a loan for your business? MACED offers loans ranging from $500 to $500,000. Loans can be used for most business purposes, including: startup or rapid growth funding, purchase of an established business, purchase of equipment or real estate, inventory and accounts receivable financing, contract or short-term working capital financing and debt restructuring. MACED can help your business at every stage of its development.
New businesses will need to include a business plan. For assistance in writing a business plan, please visit the Kentucky Small Business Development Center. For online tutorials, please visit the iCapital Assistance Network. This virtual environment is designed to walk you through the business plan and loan process.
The MACED loan application is downloadable as either a fillable Microsoft Excel file, or a non-fillable Adobe Acrobat PDF file. The Excel version may be completed on your computer then saved for submission via e-mail. The PDF version may be printed out, completed on paper then mailed or faxed in.

When you have completed the application packet, please submit it via e-mail, mail or fax using the contact information below. Please submit forms saved electronically by e-mail. Mail or fax in any forms you are not able to provide electronically. You will need to mail in the application fee. All items may be dropped off at MACED’s Berea office or Paintsville office. It would be a good idea to call a day or two after submission to make sure MACED’s staff received your application.
After all needed information has been provided, loan processing and decision-making typically ranges from ten days for a small loan up to four weeks for a larger loan.
